For years, many of my clients have been seeking the best products, products that I would recommend, these are products that I would spend time assessing efficacy, ingredients, and data before I would make any recommendations.

When it comes to supplementation, there are no FDA regulations DSHEA and as such many may contain binders and fillers (this is often preferable for some health issues, yet may have adverse effects for other health symptoms). Supplements may also contain more than what the label states and in some cases may add too much of something for your specific needs. Supplements are recommended after consultations and rarely as a generic use.

You will find on my Amazon store, supplements, superfoods, products and even books to support your well-being. Alongside other companies I have collaborated with, and I only collaborate with products that I truly feel are aligned and authentic as well as ethical.

*Note: Ingredients for supplements vary from country to country.

Superfoods

Superfoods have been used for centuries, many found by the Aztecs and used in Asia and homoeopathy/ Naturopathy and herbalism since humankind began.

The term “superfood” is a fairly new term referring to foods that offer maximum nutritional benefits for minimal calories. They are packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.

Superfoods are not always available in their fresh-from-the-ground formation, so often many health-supporting food groups are freeze-dried to enable packaging and global distribution so that many can benefit.

Superfoods such as Chia seeds, flax seeds, turmeric, ginger, Maca powder, and spirulina can easily be added to several dishes, from smoothies to salads to hot beverages. Sprinkle Chia and flax seeds on your morning plant-based yoghurt, or smoothie, add ginger or spirulina to your favourite smoothie, or make a Turmeric latte with ground curcumin, there are many superfoods, for which, if you subscribe to our newsletter, you will receive information over time about these vastly available and beneficial foods.

*Note: There's no scientifically based or regulated definition for “superfood”, but generally, a food is promoted to superfood status when it offers high levels of desirable nutrients, is linked to the prevention of a disease, or is believed to offer several simultaneous health benefits beyond its nutritional value. No standard criteria or legal definitions classify any food as a superfood at this time. However, most superfoods are plant-based.

Leaving Footprints

Once upon a time, reading books was the exact opposite of enjoyable for me, It was one of the hardest things for me to even sit still, let alone read. “Hello, the unknown unhealed trauma + ADHD = no concentration”. Actually what many don’t know is that when you have experienced trauma part of your brain known as Periaqueductal grey PAG, affects learning and concentration. Emotional trauma and consequences of traumatic experiences (PTSD) can impact this region, it doesn’t have to have been a blow to the head to cause imbalances in this mid-brain area.

However, I now own hundreds of books (I love a new book) and Kindle books, sometimes having 2 on the go (not at the same time of course).

I love to order a less “work/ education” book when travelling, but quite often the story is relatable to what I do to help others, my current read is “Finding Me” written by Viola Davies and “Heroes”, Greek mythology, written by Stephen Fry.

I hope some of the books recommended here may inspire and support you too.
